MACLEC was founded by Bhardwaj Brothers, with an aim to transform lives globally by providing most cost-effective, environmentally sustainable, and socially acceptable alternative of base-load hydro power generation from almost all types of running streams, viz. Canals, Rivers, Tidal Streams, Wastewater Drains, and so on.

Environmental impact:

• Each 1 MW installation of SHK Turbine module reduces 3,32,880 Tonnes of GHG Emissions in its lifetime (equivalent to saving 3,66,168 tonnes of coal).
• Installation of each 1-Megawatt SHK Turbine in a flowing river increases the dissolved oxygen level by approx. 32%, rejuvenating the river and the aquatic life.
• No civil infrastructure required, which means zero land acquisition.
• Excess electricity storage possible, and can thus help decrease the carbon footprint considerable.
• An important cog in green energy revolution, with the ability to generate employment for thou-sands of people.
