The SHK Turbine boasts an overall efficiency nearly twice that of other hydrokinetic turbines, thanks to its unique blade profile, providing a hydrodynamic advantage. It requires minimum site parameters, including 0.5 meter/second water velocity, approximately 0.4 meters water depth, and a 3-meter width for electricity generation. Installation and maintenance costs are minimal, with easi-ly accessible spare parts, user-friendly operation, scalability, and customization. As no permanent civil construction, land procurement, forest disruption, or wildlife displacement is involved, our SHK turbine plant is entirely environmentally neutral.
